Notice how almost everything have shrunk ? .....
everything, from mcdonalds burgers to my favourite kway png and mee pok tah ....
there wouldn't be much left from a bowl of noodles after two or three bites ...
right now, I'm staring at this small meat pao sitting on a saucer at my desk ......
it's not even one good mouthful now ..... and it costs $0.70 for a tiny "small" pau now ! ....
...
a large pau nowadays is like a big "small" pau in the old days, and
a "small" pau nowadays is almost like a siew mai in size .... wth !
..in pluto, people were complaining about the stealthily creeping size of food portions ....
how come it's the reverse here ? ... prices go up ! and the portion sizes go down ... they want to have the cake and eat it too ? ....

Hmm I dunno around my home and office the price remains the same and the portions remains the same too and the aunty always piles my plate with food that I have to tell her not too much ><
I think depends on the area and if their landlord increase their rental

the concept is to eat a few smaller meals each day and not just 3 big meals.. at first you'll feel starved.. but soon you'll feel that your appetite going down.. which is better?
a dumpling is more heavy than its size. you can try a meal with the size of your fist.. then fill the rest with fruits or veggies?
fruits and veggies are excluded in the fist count.. because they're good for you.. eat more no harm..
if you have been thinking you're fat or you eat too much or you spent too much money on food, this is something you can do? but it's not to the extend of don't eat horr.. must eat when you're hungry.. but don't eat more than your fist size whenever you eat..

That's the conceptPray tell how are you doing that at work
And not everyone have the luxury of teabreaks and what not
Too much trouble and food portions of small amounts usually means you have to pack your own food. If not it's such a waste if you eat out

and even the tiong bahru paus have shrunk in size too .....
I know they were always smaller than others .... but when I got them the other day, it's blardy ridiculous ! .. they are like half a siew mai ! ...
